Had my day all planned out. As it's my girlfriends birthday on Monday, I thought I'd treat her to go see a show up town on saturday night. Booked the tickets a few weeks ago (£150, sob) and arranged for her to meet me with my smart togs in greenwich at 5:30.
Just doing a last minute check to make sure everything is in order before hitting my pillow and I took a quick look at the tickets.....................................Only to find they've given me tickets for the 2:30 matinee performance.

As I booked these online, I'm not sure if this is my mistake or theirs but I'm not bloody happy. I'll call them in the morning and see if they can change them (even if I have to pay a fee) but not holding my breath, and if it comes to the crunch, I'll have to miss my first (home) game of the season.

So, on a completely selfish note, Maybe a postponement isn't too bad after all..............

    I booked a show other day for a Saturday night and when tickets arrived they have given me a Thursday matinee !! It's not difficult is it! I rang and changed them, no problem.

    Hope the games on, with other games being off can crank up the pressure with another 3 points.

    about four years ago I had tickets to take my daughter to see the Who at Wembley, when we tried to get in the tickets were rejected, the woman checking them pointed out I had tickets for the previous day - then said don't worry go to the ticket office which I did and they gave me a couple of tickets that were better than my originals. If Wembley can sort it so can Greenwich

    It's not in Greenwich Kap, it at the Apollo theatre in shaftesbury ave. Just rang them and the office isn't open on a saturday, ffs!

    Gonna have to skip the match today now..............not a happy bunny.

    If anyone reading this is in or around the Gravesend area and wants a free ticket for todays game and can come and collect it by 12:00 then let me know.

    Ha. Just seen this. Sorry for being a selfish c**t everybody but this has made my day 100% better.

    weather gods are smiling on you. Matinee's are awesome. early show, early dinner, few drinks, home, lovely.

    Was gonna miss it as the missus changed her flight to come home today at 2, also sounds like she did the right thing purely by chance as i wouldn't fancy heathrow tomorrow or later tonight either
