Team V Rochdale

With the squad below par yesterday, and a few looking a little tired and under performed. Who would you start with on Saturday? What you keep it the same or change it a little for a few fresh legs?

Mine would be:

Hamer

Solly
Morrison
Taylor
Wiggins

Wagstaff
Stephens
Russell
Jackson

BWP
Haynes

Subs:

Sully
Cort
Green
Hollands
Kermorgant (just give him a little rest, he did look tired more than most yesterday)

  • Russell is still suspended I think
  • Hamer
    Solly
    Wiggins
    Taylor
    Morrison
    Haynes (right wing)
    Stephens
    Holland
    Jackson
    BWP
    Hayes

    subs
    Sullivan
    Cort
    Hughes
    Kermit
    Green
  • I'd probably just change Clarke for BWP but be ready to introduce Haynes much earlier if needed and give him at least 25 minutes, even if not.

Put hughes in there if this is the case

    This.

Heart says drop Clarke and Green for BWP and Haynes and go for it! Head says straight swap BWP for Clarke otherwise unchanged.
  • Haynes on the wing isn't a goer for me. Reports on him indicate he's got great pace but can't cross for anything and doesn't have good decision-making if he gets to the right kind of areas. He's a striker, who can be used on the wing if necessary but we'd be better off starting Waggy ahead of him as an out-and-out winger

  • Hamer

    Solly
    Morrison
    Taylor
    Wiggins

    Green
    Stephens
    Hollands
    Jackson

    BWP
    Kermorgant

    Subs:

    Sulivan
    Cort
    Wagstaff
    Hughes
    Haynes
  • Waggy for Green
    BWP for Clarke

Although I think he may rest yann on Saturday

More likely Haynes for Green as waggy seems well put of the picture

    Jackson

    Kermorgant
    Haynes

    Subs:

    Cort

    Hollands
    Wagstaff

I wouldn't play Haynes as an out and out winger either I'd line up 4-3-2-1 so that he or BWP can feed off Yann's flick on's and get both the full backs pushing on but that's from my heart not head!
  • same defence, back to BWP/YK up front, maybe try Stephens and Jackson in the middle with Waggy coming back in for this game - and early subs eg Haynes if necessary!
  • BWP or Haynes instead of Clarke, that is all.
  • If BWP isn't injured he will definitely play on Saturday.
  • If BWP is back, perhaps time to rest Yann who works like a trojan. Despite Clarke being slagged off he might be worth a try with Bradley, as he does ruffle defenders and could have had one or two last night, I'm not totally convinced with supplying forwards for flicked headers. Also, at the risk of unneccessary tinkering possibly rotate Holland/Pritch and Green/Waggy.

That has confirmed you are a WUM!
  • Mine is Hamer, Solly, Morrison, Taylor, Wiggins, Green, Hollands, Stephens, Jackson, Haynes, Kermorgant

Subs: Sullivan, Cort, Pritchard, BWP, Hayes

Haynes' cameo yesterday deserves a start Saturday.
  • Back to the success of the early (post Elliot) season so ;

    Hamer
    Solly,Taylor, Morrison,Wiggins
    Wagstaffe,Hollands,Stephens, Jackson
    BWP,Hayes

    subs : Pritchard,Haynes,Cort,Sullivan,Hughes

    This team would not lose!
  • I would like to see :

    Hamer
    Solly Morro Taylor Wiggins

    Waggy Hollands Stephens Jacko

    BWP Hayes

    Subs: Sullivan,Cort,Pritchard,Kermorgant,Haynes

Even though Kermorgant is excellent for us he doesn't link with BWP as well as Hayes does and I think a few games playing back alongside Hayes could give him some of his confidence back.
