The Belvedere helicopter

Every night you hear it, tonight as we speak it's circling the area and has been for the last hour. I know there's some wronguns around here but does anyone know why it is out so regularly? I can't believe it's tracking criminals every single night!

    Also noticed how many police cars are about? Bottom of Heron Hill, 3 in Nuxley Village, 2 in Stream Way, 1 at the Brook Street Cemetary and another at the bottom of Picardy Hill

    Got the feeling it may have been drug related, dropped Pete F off in Upper Belvedere last night and saw two coppers with a sniffer dog, loads of blue lights flashing around as well.

    Typical of the type of person who lives in Belverdere to think it's their helicopter. Was over Eltham too last night and often is.
    It's actually the Belmarsh helicopter.

    The helicopter hovering overhead with its search light scanning the ground on a regular basis and the constant sound of sirens was one of the many reasons I moved away from the area.

    What is wrong with Belvedere? I have lived there all my life and i turned out alright. I belive they were looking for a lost old lady.

    No landing sites near my new house so I just tie my Robinson R66 to a lamp post and leave it running all night.
