  • I just got my Carlisle tickets. 39 quid each. Not bad. Leaving Euston at 08:30. Coming back on the 18:52.
  • Virgin just showed me 43 quid return for Oldham (into Manchester Piccadilly).
  • Rob/That would be about right, over the easter period the advanced purchase tickets are not so customer friendly
  • Not a bad price though is it?
  • Rob/Not at all, unless you have a railcard the cheapest available was £37 for Oldham and £32 for Carlisle
  • Go onto thetrainline.com. Got £16 Each way on the 0730 up and the 1852 back.
  • Trainline is an option if you do not know the train company for the journey you are making
  • Went on virgin earlier and it had gone up whereas Trainline was still cheap. Cheers for starting the thread though, reminded me to get my booking in. Well happy with £16 Each way.
  • You can still get the 16 quid each way on Virgin as long as you go up on the early train (7:30).
  • Tickets purchased for 08.30, happy to pay the extra £8 for a further hour in bed.

  • wwadd/Interesting that trainline was cheaper, but thats good. Like to keep people informed on the away travel. The away games are expensive enough so any opportunity to help, we are all in the same boat
