Hi All,

Long time reader of CL, I used to post on 606 a lot under the same name, so thought I'd finally take the plunge and join up.

Thanks for the 18 months or so I've been reading Charlton Life. Been very entertaining reading from some familiar names and some not so!

Hasn't felt so good to be an Addick for donkeys years!

    Not as many as I'd like to!

    Been to Orient and Wycombe away so far this year, but used to do the rounds in the prem.

    Tend to stand, unless I'm at the Valley with my dad, he's getting on. We sit Block M North Upper near the front, decent view from there.

    Sing when it gets going, but to chicken to start a chant!

    Quit smoking on Jan 1st. Dying a little inside each day!

    I used to post on 606 from time to time, until it shut down - my username was 'I say Semedo, you say Semado, let's call the whole thing off'.
    CL is definitely better. No 'addickted2charlton' on here...

    i briefly read 606, there was some irish bore always on there who was just so long of himself. the threads were constantly deleted on slightest whim. terrible forum.

    There was a guy called IrishAddick, but I remember him making pretty valid points.

    The biggest jerk, as far as I can remember, was a guy who called himself 'Vol-au-vent Addick' or something like that. He's not on here now is he?

    Used to read and occasionally comment on 606, gave up when A2C accused me of not being a real fan and only coming 'aht' of the woodwork cos we'd won a match.

    A2C was great, having the time and patience to type like that takes true dedication!

    Nick Gray (aka Vol au Vent) was always a complete muppet on there but people used to take the bait all too easily.

    IA was usually alright, but he loved himself a bit, and JT used to generally pop in and wind the WUM's up a bit

    Anyway, welcome Herminator!

    remember a2c, vol au vent, issysslctwto, muttley, irishaddick & JT amongst others. Also remember a few popping over from here on a few ocassions & it kicking off.

    better class of poster & debate on here, a few scary bullies, lots of know-it-alls, angry people....

    Used to read 606 but I don't think I ever posted. If I did I have no idea what username I had. a2c & vol au vent - just hearing those names again send a shiver down my spine.

    It was pretty rubbish - no New Bird on Countdown thread for starters!

    I wonder what that a2c bloke does with himself, christ I wonder if he's even still alive. Nick Gray was actually quite funny if you didn't take it seriously. I`m pretty sure Irish Addick posts on here under a different name

    I used to read 606....vol-u-vont wasnt he the guy who had a downer all the time on Murray and the board? a2c I could never understand a word of his posts (must be an age thing!!)...... and as for IA...nuff said......so glad I joined here!!

    I used to read/post there as Exiledaddick. Now just plain old Rob.
    A2C - what a wind up merchant he was and I think it was Vol-u-Vent who had a chip on his shoulder about CL and life in general.
