The great thing for the kids is when there is a good atmosphere and we are winning. My 10 year old really enjoys coming now but up to this season he clearly wasn't with us being disapointing at home so often. You had to virtually drag him to the game and as soon as we went behind it was- dad, can we go home now! Long may it continue.
  • NWQ is the place to be
Took my 8 year old niece , 11 year old nephew and 6 year old son to the game yesterday and got them all singing the songs in the car(wibble)
Keenest of the lot was my niece she knew all the words and was very enthusiatic
    Gotta catch em young
Good times to be an addick !
  • @MuttleyCAFC Up to this season you had to virtually drag most of us to the game
  • That was my little boy, wearing the goalkeeper kit. He's 4 1/2 loves going to the games and has now been to 50 games, we took him to yeovil and wednesday as well. He was singing were top of the league the whole game. I think he was trying to get everyone to sing in the nwq
  • my little boy is 4 & in recent weeks his interest in football and especially Charlton has just blossomed, all he wants to do is play football & be Charlton...not a bad effort on my part given we live in the land of ice hockey & gridiron.....guess he'll be getting next season's kit for his birthday :-)
  • At least the kids are more enthusiastic than the adults in the NW. I think for every home game now I'm gonna wear a helmet as I'm in top row in NWD and have the people in wheelchairs throwing things down at people sitting in that row at random intervals

We were in the NWQ (upper) for the first time yesterday. We gave it a go because my vision is pretty bad on the right hand side and I hoped that the angle of that corner would be beneficial to seeing all, or most, of the pitch and so it proved. Not only was it better sight-wise but the acoustics for hearing the singing and chanting were much improved and better than when actually being in the Nort Upper or Lower. My little boy also enjoyed it there although I did cover his ears occasionally, e.g during 'South London'' after all he's only 31!
  • Brilliant March ;-)
  • Block M is where the future is, they even have a match at half time.
  • Might give this a go. Was in the North lower as normal with my 11 yr old. Fed up with foul lanuage re rapists etc - full of pathetic teenagers in the North these days

  • She said no Kafka, she said no !
  • I was in the North West Quad too. Row HH, block B. Pretty good seats to be honest
  • We love the NWQ I think it has the best view in the house and I've sat everywhere else. Were in row V block C, great seats
