Man United have been doing it for years, how many times have we seen United win by the one goal or a spectacular strike in last minute of extra time. Now the Addicks are doing just that, with a manager of equal stature, will they get the deserved praise from the media,probably not.
Chris Powel,his staff and team and just got on with the job,quietly and confidently,the respect for each other right across the board is just unbeleavable and over whelming, a sign of true profesionals and comitment to the club and each other.
Powel also has that ability of building a team from scratch with out spending millions(like Curbs) but seems to have a better understanding with his players,they all want to get into the team and play their hearts out for Powel.His appreciation of that was clear to see after Jackson scored last week,he wears his heart on his sleave and that sleave just happens to red & white with KRBS across the chest.
Absolutely brilliant season so far,it can only go from strength to strengh and I don't think we need to worry about players leaving next season,they are in for the ride long term.
