  • First loss at home this season. 0-2
  • a lot of people thought Sheff Wed were going to be this exellent side that would really test us, and our team passed with flying colours.

Sheff Utd will offer a different threat and one that will be more pleasing on the eye. But, this team we have look very adaptable and we are top for a reason. I didnt think we would beat Huddersfield at home and look what happened.

    2-1 Charlton.
  • 2-2 BWP twice for us
  • I think there is a lot of sense in what @ValleyGary says, but something is telling me its going to be honours even.

Win, and it goes without saying we put ourselves in an incredibly strong position. Huge potential this one.
  • Too much to ask for an 8-0? ;)
  • 1-1, as with Sheff Wed the important thing is not to lose.
  • 1-1

4 points from both sheffield games will be a cracking result.

    COYR!
  • I'm going for a thrilling 3-2 win. Kermorgant, Solly and BWP.
  • @WillmoreTheRed

6 points from both will be even better! I say 2-0 BWP scores both

I can see this going any way but I suppose I should choose one. I reckon Sheff U are too proficient in front of goal at the moment for even us to stop them scoring, but I think we can limit them to just the one and BWP and Kerms will score for us 2-1 win.

Also, I'm planning on watching the Chelsea match on telly in the area tomorrow, anyone know what would be the best pub for it?

  • The Anti ^^
  • I predict Haynes to come on and grab the winner as Kermy flicks on a Hamer clearance. Cue delirium.
  • I'll be happy to still have an unbeaten home record this season come 5pm Saturday.
  • Think it will be tight. But this team of ours is the best we have had in years. 2-1
  • Also Pritchard reminds me a bit of Scott Parker
  • You did us a favour last week,
    same again this week please.

Hudds could move into 2nd spot on Saturday and then hopefully we will both pull clear of the also rans.
  • I'm telling ya. This game has got Leeds and the last minute akpo goal written all over it

    Jacko in the 90th
  • Afternoon Addicks fans another Blade here. Looking forward to a brilliant top of the table clash tommorrow. Sounds like tickets have sold well on both sides so should make for a good atmosphere! Congratulations on your season so far but as we all know there are plenty of points to play for. I personally believe we are a totally different side to the one you played at Bramall Lane earlier in the season, the players have really kicked on and are brimming with confidence. There is a real feel good factor about the club now as the fans and players are buying into Danny Wilson and Frank Barlow's way of management.
With no pressure on the club to sell our best players due to the board issuing a statement saying they'll be reducing the wage bill over a term of 18 months instead of instigating a firesale and totally wrecking any chance of promotion back to the championship. That was great to hear as was a new board member who has made a contribution to the coffers and we are now looking to strengthen the team.
Im predicting an exciting game with loads of chances and plenty for both sets of fans to shout and sing about. I reckon both keepers will be on top form and United come out with a fantastic 2-1 win.
Charlton's Key Player - Yann Kermorgant
Blades Key Player - Kevin McDonald
  • I agree with the blade about it being a cracking game but not with the outcome; actually it will be good to play a footballing side who hopefully want to score as this will suit us more.

BWP to score, and our defence to keep another clean sheet. I dont care what the score is if I am right on that, although I do not think it will be as tight as some are predicting.

  • I hope Im wrong, but I have a bad feeling for a 2-1 victory for them kick-starting a 15 match winless run seeing us slip out of contention<TROLLING
  • I predict that we will lose our unbeaten home record tomorrow - 2 - 1 to Sheffield Utd. I am hoping like mad that I am wrong.
  • We tend to score at least one in our matches, what i have seen of Sheffield United is that they will shoot at every reasonable opportunity in and around the box, and have been getting goals (more than us), I predict 1-1 going in to the last 15 minutes, and the use of substitutions will eventually decide the outcome. So a fence sitting 1-1 or 2-1 either way.
  • 25 games without a shut out, could be tomorrow 0-0
  • What? We had a shut out just last Saturday, so did they. 0-0 it won't be.
  • both teams Large, 25 games since a nil nil score draw,
  • I think we are all being a little like Charlton fans have always been. The team is doing well . I will correct that the team is doing very well and we are all waiting for the bubble to burst. Lets face it we have all been there many times before over the years. The ups and downs. Its exciting and sad sometimes that's why we support CAFC.

It's a 2-0 win tomorrow no problems as we dominate them in the first half and hold our ground in the second.

Nail biting stuff towards the end so bring some toilet paper just in case as Sheff U pepper our goal with shots in the last 20 minutes.
24,358 give standing ovation at the final whistle except those that got over anxious of course and Sheffield United fans obviously.

    COYR

Put them Blades to the Charlton Sword
  • 2-1 would be my guess - hopefully not of course!
  • I think we are due a home defeat & can't see us winning this one as too many fans think its a done deal..........also Beattie always scores against us and even if he doesn't start he will come off the bench to score the winner

    2-1 to the blades.
  • 1 - 0 to Charlton.

BWP breaks his scoring drought in front of a bumper crowd
