Liverpool's Welsh striker Craig Bellamy is in trouble again. In his team's training camp in Algarve he has allegedly attacked team mate John Arne Riise with a golf club.
In a scandalous chain of events controversial former Newcastle player Bellamy kicked in Riise's hotel room door and hit him several times with a golf club. Neither of the players have been available since this event, but Bellamy's future in red shirt is now in doubt. Riise survived the attack with bruises.
The Liverpool players had been celebrating their camp in a local bar, and on their way back to the hotel, they vandalised several cars and destroyed hotel property.
Also goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek has been in headlines after trying to assault a policeman and striker Robbie Fowler was unable to walk back to his hotel on his own.
