Transfer Window Predictions

What transfer activity do you expect over the rest of this window following the acquisitions of Clarke and Haynes? My guess is...

INS

- An LM to fill the gap vacated by Ephraim - either Ben Marshall, Lloyd Dyer or Mark Marshall
- Karleigh Osbourne from Brentford if we can find a club to loan Doherty to.

OUTS

- None. I think we'll keep both Waggy and Hayes (especially as I worry BWP may be doing a Robbie Elliot on us and looking to leave in the summer)

Whats your thoughts? I also think we lack cover in the RB area but think we will just keep Andy Hughes as back up for that position this season.

Been said Powell wants 2 players for each position, maybe Hughes is seen as back up for Solly. That gives us Hollands, Pritchard, Stephens and Russell as the four CM's, plus Alonso if he gets fit.

We have 5 strikers so Hayes could possibly go, even if it's only out on loan. With Euell we have 6, but doubt Powell really sees him as someone to start after signing 2 strikers.

Think we'll probably have to wait until the summer to replace Doherty.

Left midfield is the only position without real cover, but Jackson is our captain and will always start. Think we'll bring someone on loan if he gets injured. Though end of the loan window in March we might well loan someone as cover for the rest of the season, as we did with Ephraim when the first loan window closed.

Non-league paper said we bid 1m for Vardy. I wonder if that was before we signed Haynes or are we still interested? Love to have him.

Powell doesn't like Evina for LM, only sees putting him there as a makeshift role rather than actual cover. We definitely need to get a proper left-sided midfielder in as Jackson tends to get pretty bad injuries taht keep him out for a long time. Squad depth is what can drag you over the line as the season wears on

If the Mysteons think it good to do business for Championship quality this season rather than when the prices go up for us in the summer then it's possible we may see more faces but my guess is either Ephraim comes back or we bring in someone else for him but that's it.

Hogan is on the bench for QPR at Newcastle. Lloyd Dyer played and scored for Leicester yesterday. Marshall will stay up North - Leicester probably. Cant see any of them happening.

We need cover at right back and left midfield. In an ideal world we'd also ship Doherty out and replace him.

Id like to see cover for LM & RB but generally very happy with the squad and if it came to it could get a loan in, only player i see leaving is Doherty probably on a loan till end of the season to a league 2 club.

Because he's still only 17/18. At one point this season other players were keeping him out of the u18s team.

Only having 5 subs doesn't help either.
