  • interesting. Who got the highest points total in league 1?
  • What does "Guaranteed Points Total" signify?
  • top five teams have more points at present than is typical, so 92 might not be enough to be champions, surely should be enough for 2nd at least though ...

    reading i believe
  • I think this season is not a typical L1season as there seem to be 5 teams who are far better than the rest and therefore a far higher point total will be needed, we have to aim for the maximum and not settle for draws against the other top teams.
  • What does "Guaranteed Points Total" signify?
I read it as the amount of points that if you'd have got, you definitely would have finished there or higher.

i.e. No one has got 88 and finished third.

Keeping the faith at the moment be we just love breaking records like that don't we whereas with other teams it seems to fall the other way e.g. didn't West Ham stay up one year with the lowest total ever or thereabouts?

I think they went down with the highest points ever to get relegated.
  • Interesting to see Highest Points total for 4th place, 84.

Charlton finished 4th under Parky with 84 points.

  • Certainly suggests we are going to make it
  • Most points total from L1 was Fulham with 104
  • Most points total from L1 was Fulham with 104
    Was it not Reading

  • please don't forget there are sixty+ points to be played for, the best you can say is that, like the Sheffield clubs, we are on target for a top two place
  • That's the interesting thing, Salad - amazingly there are five clubs on target fior automatic promotion.
