He's just talking like he's been talking all along and he's right too. They're big games but not the be all and end all. He can hardly say to the players if we don't get good result we might as well give up.
Not saying he should say differently but we all know they are pretty important games. I mean if we lose to Wednesday we are only 2 points ahead of them but if we beat them we are 8 ahead - quite a big difference and the second half of the season can really tick down quickly and 8 points is a big lead.
Chris knows these are MASSIVE games , he wants to make sure the players don't get tense and freeze , and treat them like any other game , i really hope the players turn up and are well prepared , as they have been for nigh on most of the season.
I know we have better players than Wednesday but they are strong at home and will try to come at us I'm sure. But Huddersfield were unbeaten until they played us - we shouldn't worry about that particular record - for us they are due a defeat there and who better to give it to them? Our support will be very important as they will certainly be up for it though. Also we need all of our players to turn up but they are the sort of players who do. I really sense 3 points here - Wednesday's best chance will be to play like they did at the Valley but surely they won't be so negative at home!
I don't think any of the above list will move on in this window. Stoke don't need Marshall, who is a fair bit away from the finished product anyway, Huddersfield don't have to sell Rhodes and he would have to throw a wobbly to go (which I suppose is the most possible if a big club comes in), Evans has the rape accusation over him and BWP has been a bit quiet at the right time.
