We're trying to have it both ways here. Did we want to lose yesterday? Of course not, but now we're glad they won? They will be full of confidence and believe they are unbeatable at home. That isn't the same as complacency. I think quite a few on here are making the same mistake they made about us - assuming that they're not that good on the evidence of one performance. I'd definitely settle for a point next week.
If the Wed management have any sense they will be looking after their own affairs and not worrying overmuch about what other clubs are up to. Their team is in fine form and next saturday's game will be a humdinger .. bring it on !!
Caller on 5live just said WH had only five regulars playing and they were mostly returning from injury lay offs. I think our game against Fulham will have helped train highest levels of concentration for next game. Scoreline was irrelevant, apart from individual moments, Charlton players mostly matched their opposite numbers in the personal battle contests.
Was speaking to a Leeds fan at work as I was interested to know what he felt was the reason they nearly let that massive lead slip the season before last. He was emphatic that is was the distraction of the cup. So for that reason, let's wish Wednesday a bit of a run.

I didnt want us to lose, but didnt go to the game thinking we would win. I think it is more a fact that the cup can become a distraction, disrupting fixtures and adding to an already long season. The fact the wed will now probably have to travel to MK on a weekday is a example of that.
I think it is dangerous to approach any game not wanting to win it and of course we didn't do that but the point is that being out of the competition won't do us any harm - it has the potential to do Wednesday some harm if they have a run and the games start to come thick and fast.

Bradley has got alot to answer for.
That was about the extra time, not injury.. sorry if I offended

Head injury, but more face than serious Is the rumour. Dont think it will be bad enough for him to look like Lescott though!
Hope both sides have everyone fit, and hope its as good a game as the Hudders one.
Without the last minute goal from the visitors! Get as many as you can up here, could be a good advert for us both, in this soding league.
0-0 will do me
