Ohh Aah would have a field day with the excuses on there!
Although not surprising if we was Prem I doubt we'd have many more than 7/8/9k at home for a 3rd round game vs a 3rd division team, shame as it'll spoil the atmosphere and probably end up a bit like WBA a few years ago in the 3rd round when they sold out the Jimmy Seed while the rest of the ground was empty
Not true, as per Fulham office they had sold around 13,000 home tkts (my mate who sits next to me Fulham fan called up)
There appears to be a disagreement as to whether the 13,000 sold, includes the 7000 CAFC. You say no & Beds says yes.
So has there been 13000 sold or 20000 ?
This is very important, as I need to know what time to leave in order to get the beers in, without queing for the 1st round.

I think the most important thing about Saturday is the sense of optimism that we can justifiably have going into this game and it shows us where we are mentally. I dont really care about the score as long as we are not thumped but if we do win oh sweet delirium. Even if we put on a good performance then all the more reason to get to the Sheffield Wednesday game.

13,000 Fulham, confirmed by Fulham Tkt Office when my mate rang earlier today, plus our lot = 20,000 so far
No problem with resting players but I think a full strength line up. Not good enough though as we go down 4-1 and we realize we are only a very good League One side.
Morning all Physic RM here......well after Mondays prediction of a win against the Bees, my balls seem back in working order, however I have given them a good long rest this week and not let Mrs RM anywhere near them (she does like a daily fondle you know!!). So I've got them out this morning and gently but 'firmly' got them to perform...........they seem well up for it as well!! Anyway moving on........sadly, despite a 'vailiant' effort and a genuine 'thriller' of a match, the addicks will give a very good account of themselves but will go down 3-1 - corection 2-1 (one of my balls has 'firmed up' a little more!!).......but it wont be a Fulham pushover by any means.
My alter ego RM will be on match thread duty for those not going as from 2 pm.
For me the relevant thing is that we will have 7 on the bench. This will allow CP to start with a strong line up, which I think is only fair to 7000 enthusiastic supporters. We are taking 8 teenagers with us for whom this game will be very special. Also I am absolutely certain that CP will be desperate to avoid us getting a hiding. My forecast is a tight game and our supporters going home with a smile on their faces, win, lose, or draw.
I,d like to think powell has considered the fact that the replay would slot in the middle of the sheffiel twins and therefore go all out attack with a 5-3 thriller going fulhams way
Danny Murphy (previously waived by Liverpool H-Cap Thieves) will pass for 3 touchdowns. Running back John Arne Riise will run in two more TD's to make the score 35-0 at half time. Cheerleaders at the interval will cheer us up & inspire renewed vocalness resulting in an incredible 3rd quarter comeback by the Pack. 3 year veteran Johnnie Jackson will pass for two early scores connecting with wide receivers Bradley "It wasn't me"Wright-Phillips and Yann "Muppet Show" Kermorgant before a field goal by Bradley "Great signing" Wiggins makes the score 35-17. Michael "Jim" Morrison then runs in for a score but a 25 minute delay ensues while the play is reviewed resulting in the score being wiped out due to holding on the part of Matt "Peter" Taylor. We are instead penalised 10 yards and lose a down. 7,000 go mad and proceed to stand up for the rest of the game. After a poor punt by the 49ers, the Pack take advantage with tight end Daniel "90th minute" Green running in a score to make it 35-24. Start of the 4th quarter sees changes made by Head Coach Christopher H Powell (the only black manager in the League), one of which sees Bradley "Sweet Knees" Pritchard take a superb catch in the end zone from a great pass by the back up QB, Daniel "3 babies" Hollands, 35-31.
Incessant pressure by the Pack is to no avail however and the 49ers hold out to sneak the win.
That said it's an opportunity for the players to test themselves at a higher level.
My hope is that we don't disgrace ourselves for the sake of the 7K travelling fans but, more importantly, emerge from this match with no further cards or injuries.
I think we are more than capable of an upset tomorrow but being Charlton I'm expecting a close game up to 75 minutes only for them to run out 3-1 winners. Then they draw Man City at home in the next round :-(
When the tie was pulled out the hat we were flying playing free flowing football and looking good value for the win bearing in mind Fulhams form at that time.........Tides have turned and although we still sit pretty top of the league the free flowing aspect seems to have left us and joint Fulham.
Would like us to score but can see them gettin atleast 2 possibly 3 - That said all depends on who they play! They rest most of first team we'll be in with a shout but if they play 6/7 first teamers, we will struggle to keep up.
2-1 Fulham (although still put us to win in my FA cup accum, seems sill not to at 6/7-1, just on the off chance!!)

Indications from press conference that Jol plans to put out a strong side.
