STATBANK: Charlton 2-0 Brentford plus The Promometer

Thanks to the 72 Lifers who gave marks.

I have added 2 shots off target to the "official" number, one for Wright Phillips when he shot across goal and one for Waggy when he blazed it over the bar. In  "average player marks" I have now divided it into 1st half and 2nd half of the season. In the "cumulative player stats" I have taken out those players who have left and put them in a separate table. Someone please tell Mr Powell not in play anymore than 3 more players this season or it will bugger up my table!

See 6998 of you at Craven Cottage

  • Cheers Lancs.
  • I must be missing something in the maths but i don't understand how jackson has fallen below hughes when he scored more than his average or the season and hughes didn't play.

Anyhow, thanks for the stats as ever, great reading

Before the Orient game JJ had an average of 7.08 and Hughes 7.04. Hughes did not play in the Orient or Brentford games so his average remained at 7.04. However JJ played in both games with marks of 5.83 and 7.05 so reducing his season's average to 7.01.

  • Leeds had played 2 more home games than us though.
  • Impressive average team mark of 7.05 ... any idea what is was last season?

Nonetheless a stark reminder of how we need to keep going and avoid complacency as they nearly blew it from a similar / better (more points and bigger lead over other teams) position.

Wagstaff and Green have nearly played the same amount of minutes on the pitch , one has 5 assists and 2 goals , the other 3 goals & 2 assists.

  • I'm more surpised that we are currently 13 points better off than southampton were this time last yr - mental, forgot quite how good their 2nd half season was
  • We need 13 more wins i reckon.
  • Probably 10 more wins and the inevitable few draws would push us over the line.
  • for 92 points we need 38 more , something 11 wins 5 draws and 6 defeats from 22 games
