Not sure its been mentioned yet on here but on the 12th July Charlton will be the first team to play Maidstone Utd at their new ground in Maidstone.
As I have supported The Stones for longer than I have Charlton (And got two Maidstone tops for Xmas) it's going to be a very strange game but a great feeling knowing the stones have made it home!

    I used to watch them a lot back in the eighties when I couldn't afford to travel to Charlton aways. I've always had a soft spot for them and used to love their old ground. Really pleased they have eventually found there way back.

    I've lived here since 1969 and used to go down there with my mates as a teenager when I couldn't afford or get to Charlton.

     

    So glad they're getting a ground back in the town.
