Sounds a lovely day, I hope I can do something similar one day.. I'm relaxing during the day and then getting takeaway early evening down the pub for a couple drinks then home still not feeling christmassy

  • Picking the mumma up and bringing her down to mine, taking her to church in the PM, haven't been for like 25 years, then ply her with booze after that.

cooking for her for the first time on Xmas day, no pressure

Still, I am sure it will be fine

Xmas is about your family, that's good enough for me.

    Happy Christmas fellow Lifers

Her name is Scarlett rose , thank you sadie thats a very kind thought,

The poor little thing has suffered with urine infections from a very young age, this one has really hurt her, they found she had a dilated kidney on a scan yesterday and they have found the bug that's hurting her so a change in medicine and the pain should ease in 48 hrs or so,

Then off the the blinding great ormond street to sort the kidney problem or find out where the blockage is and we will be on the homeward stretch
  • Working.

Sorry about the little 'un NLA.

  • She will be out tonight but back on boxing day unless I can convince them to leave it till the evening or the day after

Not as simple as we first hoped and she has a bit further to go than just changing anti biotics

Not ideal but satisfactory enough for now
  • Sorry to hear that mate. Good to hear she will be home though..
  • Not sure what I'm doing yet. Might be a repeat of yesterday. A bit of shopping in the morning. Back home in the afternoon to pull up some floorboards and hunt for dead mice!
This is exactly how the day panned out. Found 3 dead mice. Not a very good Christmas for them!
