I clearly remember being at both those games. Both classic smash and grab. At Newcastle the Geordies were chanting 'sack the board' and we had to be escorted back to the station. Even though we were staying locally with my mates parents, the police wouldn't let us leave the procession.
My (ex) girlfriends car got written off on the way to the leicester game and she was wailing like a banshee for the entire match without let up. Not even the unexpected win could lift her spirits. That's when I knew she wasn't 'Proper Charlton'. )
Tony James is the Leicester centre-half who has the header saved and then deflects Alex Dyer's shot past the keeper. He was quite promising then I think he got a bad injury and finished early.
