RVP bloddy well did shin that goal vs us. Great strike though. Think Rooney possibly shins his overhead kick vs City too, but still an amazing goal, much as it pains me to admit it.
Some pretty average goals in that list though imo. What's so special about Rooney's for Everton vs Arsenal? A goal like that scored pretty much every weekend. Same with Carr's for Spurs. Albert's was a fine chip, but the goalie was in a stupid position so Albert had the whole goal to aim at and what the hell is Fabregas' goal doing in there - it was a bloody one on one from 10 yards and the build up was nothing especially great? Basically, if you could imagine the goal being scored in the football league, it shouldn't be in the list. Bartlett's, I'm pleased to say took predigious skill to hit a ball which has travelled 50+ yards in the air, is dropping over your shoulder and onto your weaker foot - I'd be happy just to touch the ball let alone smash into the far corner. I'm remember being astounded that Bartlett had even tried it, it wasn't as if he was renowned for that kind of thing but it fully deserves to be in the list. Jensen's vs Arsenal has a strong case too imo - took more skill and invention than Carr's - any goal scored by a defender by definition probably isn't the hardest skill in football (I may make an exception to this rule for Glen Johnson's goal for Pompey but he's not really a defender!).
Either of Bergkamp's goals take it for me though, unbelievable touch, invention and composure for both of them. Think his one vs Newcastle edges it because we still haven't really seen that goal replecated which shows how special it was.
Bergkamp was unbelievable, especially the one against Newcastle. Still, my heart swells with pride at the Elmander goal. So he wins. The Bartlett one is definitely ahead of most of the others though, especially the Fabregas one. What?

Don't start that again!
Abso-chuffin-loutly! Been pointing that out to gooners for years!
Add that to the fact he shouldnt even have been on the pitch and it really is nothing special
