Interview with ZZ

edited February 2007 in General Charlton
I see from the cafc site that ZZ is having English lessons. Nice to see they are starting with the essentials - eg "to be honest", "at the end of the day","the biggest difference between English football and Chinese football is the pace of the game" and "i'm ready to give my all to help the team to fight against relegation". If you didn't know better, you might think someone had written it for him. I wonder how 'to be honest' sounds in Chinese?

Comments

  • heh heh. he might have had a translator?
  • Yep. I'm sure he did. And that 'to be honest' and 'at the end of the day' are old Chinese sayings!
  • it might not be a direct translation... or perhaps he watches Premier league with English commentary?

    :)
