Happy 40th birthday to me!

edited December 2011 in General Charlton
Seeing it in at one minute past midnight with a pint of apple and blackcurrant on the go, an Aero and Graham Norton on the telly.

Someone tell me that's not it from now on - please!

  • its over
  • Your life, as it is, is over.
  • It's been "over" for years lads.

Ever since I turned down Claudia Schiffer that time. I thought Linda Evangelista was looking hotter that night and tried to put all my eggs in her basket.

    But what did I know.

Not everyone's idea of a party

    Congratulations / commiserations
  • Happy birthday anyway. Enjoy the Aero.........

  • Mind you, did have 6 pints of Kronenburg with me best pal after work just to wave goodbye the the thirties. The pint of a&b is to avoid dehydration in the morning. The Aero is for hunger. Graham Norton is because I can't be bothered to find the remote.
  • There is no hope.

  • Congatulations.  I turned 40 in the summer, since which time I have made much use of the phrase, 'I'm 40 - I'll do what I bloody well like' in family discussions.  Try it.
  • Welcome to the 40 something club! It's not as bad as it's made out to be but you will find when faced with a choice of two eventd on the same night you WILL now always go for the one that means you get home earliest. Have a good un.
