Who do we want in the 3rd round?

  • At home to someone like Coventry City or better still Portsmouth, so we can measure the squads strengths and weaknesses, use the game as a yardstick. Hopefully get through and then Manchester City home or away to get the measure of Michael Slater.
  • Top prem team or local derby.

Not the massive sheff wed though. Please.
  • Home tie against the Geordies so we can have a crack at humbling Pardoo. A League One side should give us every chance of the fourth round.
  • Blackburn,Wigan. Any premier league struggler would be good.
  • Home tie against the Geordies so we can have a crack at humbling Pardoo..

    Now that might be fun
  • Grimsby away !! (provided they can beat Salisbury in a replay)
  • when is the draw?
  • 2.40 tomorrow. We're ball #64
  • Bosh cheers west side, I want either a home London derby or an away big club, but not sheff weds cos they are massive!

  • About 2.40 on itv ball 64

    Doncaster or Burnley away please
  • Please not Bradford! would like a Prem Team at Home , Man City or Arsenal
  •

    somewhere warm and inexpensive!

    My front room?
  • Man U @ home .. 1-1 then off to Aged Trafford where we do 'em 3-0 .. odds on that please Betdeadfred, paddy powerless or boybrokes
  • I want Palace but I think a top prem side would be good. Even if we got Southampton could be a test of how far we have come of late.
  • Then again maybe a smaller side could be good and we could go on a cup run without a giant killing.
  • Home tie against the Geordies so we can have a crack at humbling Pardoo..

I know we could do without the extra game but Newcastle away, snatch a draw, then turn them over at the Valley.
Imagine Pardew skulking off with a chorus of 'you're shit and you know you are' ringing in his ears.

Forest away - full strength side, let's see how we cut it against a struggling, but established championship outfit. + I live nearby
  • West Ham would be good or Brighton away.  Test ourselves against decent championship opposition.

    But it will be Coventry.

  • Stevenage away (if they're still in it?) and thrash them 5 or 6 nil!

    this or Palarse at home.
  •

nice one... i'll bring me slippers.
  • A decent away ground I ain't been.
Everton, Stoke, Sunderland or Newcastle for a weekender!

    Or of course Palace away.
  • Palarse away love to beat them and take away the bragging rights!
  • Creepy Crawley away.
  • Big team either Man U, Man City or Sheffield Wednesday.
Yeah i'd love a big draw. Wednesday definately, but Man U or Citeah, can't really be classed as a big club draw, can they?
  • Newcastle away
  • I believe a lot of clubs with aspirations of doing well in the comp would like to avoid us, even top six of the prem would raise an eyebrow to playing us away.
  • Championship team would be good, especially a London one. West Ham would be ideal. Would be a good test of our 'level'.

Not especially bothered about getting one of the big guns, would like to see us actually progress a bit.
Have to agree with this. Maybe Brighton or Southampton at home ?
  • One I can get tickets to, didnt get to carlisle game coz of work
