    Christmas Wrapping - The Waitresses
  • Christmas Wrapping - The Waitresses
    good one
  • First off, I detest Christmas and secondly, I'm not religious but 'Come All Ye Faithful' makes the hairs on my neck stand up.

  • Nothing like getting you in the festive spirit with a song with lyrics like 'scum bag' and 'whore' in it.

It's got to be Noddy shouting "It's Christmasssssssssssss!"

  • Prokofiev Troika from Lietenant Kije. All jingle bellsy and jolly. Always has the family trotting round the house pretending to be reindeers pulling sledges.  Or joining in with  Max Bygraves singing 'I Saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus'. Seriously weird house is ours!

  • Adam Faith's 'Lonely Pup':

'Soft brown eyes that seem to say

Stay a while, I want to play

                                            Could you, would you

                                            Do please stop

                                            He's a lonely pup

In a Christmas shop'              A rarely heard classic!!

I kid you not - Christmas song loop playing on October 27th,  including the a/mentioned.
    Jesus Christ
  • Christmas in Australia - Frank Sidebottham

Christmas in Australia is different to Christmas here,
They have sun and lager, and we have snow and beer,
You know we do, we really do.
    Thank You.
  • Bing Crosby.
    White Christmas.
  • The Pogues followed by Slade but all are great even Cliff's Mistletoe and Wine
  • Santa Claus is coming to town   - Bruce Springsteen

    Pipes of peace      Paul Macartney

Happy xmas (war is over)   -  John lennon

  • Yeah anything from March51's Phil Spector album, in particular Christmas (Baby please come home), which is partly thanks to Gremlins.
  • Far to many of these that I like to mention, but if it was a top 5 then-:

FairyTale of New York - Pogues
Happy Xams (war is over) - John Lennon
Driving home for Christmas - Chris Rea
    Merry Xmas - Slade
    White Christmas - Bing

As for hymns - Oh Come all ye faithfull and Silent Night.

And when down at the Valley at Xmas surely it must be 'Mull of Kintyre' followed by the Addicks VFR version!!
