How far we were off of full capacity on a Monday night televised game... Cracking effort.

Comments

  • Capacity is around twenty seven and a half thousand, so still a few seats to fill.  Thought the crowd on Monday was actually around 15,000.  Surprised the number of ST no shows, the two next to me and behind me were not there, shame they missed a cracking display which could not be replicated on TV
  • I'm sure there were some ST holders that couldn't make it but where do you get 15000 from?

I was in the north-upper and it was practically heaving up there, so much so that I actually had to sit in my seat as there was no standing room at the back. :-/

I counted them! Siting in Upper West, looking at East Stand and Lower North.  Upper North looked jammed.
  • Well, sitting in the west, you have nothing better to do I suppose. ;-)
  • Thought it was a prediction of Saturdays crowd.

Sod off!  I have to open my flask and smooth out my blanket
  • Capacity is 27,111 actually.

Therefore our sales of 18029 puts us at 9082 off of that figure.
  • Actually thought it was more than 18,000. People actually sat in my row (how dare they) in the East which has happened twice before  in the last 18 months, both at the £5 games !!

North Upper was practically full and the East busier than usual. Even the directors box look full for the first time in a very long time.

My row in the east was full up for the first time in years and there were actually a few people other than me who were singing/chanting for a change.
  • North upper looked over full to me. There was people standing on the stairs beside us.

  • That's because so many people didn't want to sit next to Kap.
