Why does everybody scream and shout at the penalty take from the moment he places the ball? Never works. What would be much better was if everybody was silent until he reaches his striking stride, that would have far more effect, and the moody silence would be far more unsettling!

I cringe when people celebrate a penalty award before the ball has been blasted past the keeper into the net.
