    One thing that has always played on my mind. Why was Alan Dugdale never picked for England?

    Welcome.  Alan Dugdale was a 5' 8" cenre half.  This wasn't really big enougn for that position but he managed it at league level but never likely to go up to international level.  When he played for the England Under 21 side he was played out of position as a full back.

    Welcome Baldybonce.........50 years an addick obviously had an effect on your barnet!!....@T.C.E has the same problem!!
    Baldybonce, please excuse Redmidland he is my Dad and in his 80s you'd think would know better. Here he is doing the match commentry as you can see he's also folically challenged but wears a ' John Motson style Syrup' in public and while doing commentry ; )
