If he's going to do his hamstring there probably isn't going to a better time all season if he's going to do it. Only 3 league games in 5 weeks till Christmas

Very pragmatic! I'd rather it didn't happen just before a game against one of the better teams in the league though, Huddersfield will be tough and we could do with someone of JJ's quality.
Funny, because it didn't look like a hamstring injury. If it is I can imagine that he will miss the Huddersfield game and as the following match is the Cup game v Carlisle he might have been rested for that one anyway..........so no need to rush and could be back for the Walsall game on the 10th.
Doubtful he'll play in the Huddersfield game, gutted. Morrison's out too, isn't he? Not ideal! Ephraim gets his chance now though, hope the lad takes it.
BigRedEvil made a great point, three games in five weeks isn't the worst time to get injured. Could be worse.

Morrison isn't out 94.
One of the bookings credited to him was in fact on a Morrison playing for the opposition.
Unless the whole things a scam - Ephraim came in because CP knows JJ is going to a championship club in the next transfer window...the whole "ooops I've slipped and accidentally severed my leg" act is a put on job to minimise the fury among the fans, and then he'll be quietly slipped out the back door come January.

Sounds like JJ will probably miss the Huddersfield game but not be out long. We can still beat them without him, we are only bringing in a player who played a big part in a Championship winning team last season!
2 seasons ago we lost Jackson the game before the Millwall away game.
Last season we lost him at half time against Notts County and even through we had lost a couple before that game the really bad run set in once he was lost.
If we were talking about Danny Mills I'd have to say it was a Christmas Holiday injury, like the time he talked the ref into giving him a red card just before Xmas!
Obviously a blow but this team is so different from any we have had in the past five seasons. We've got two leaders all over the pitch and they're all in it together.
I think we'll miss his goals and balance but we have enough to cope.
Bit controversial maybe but I'd rather it was JJ than Hollands,BWP,Taylor or Morrison. Not that I want JJ to be out at all I just think the spine of a team is more important to keep intact.

'Morrison is not out next week - Confirmed by Matt Wright on Twitter'

No, i'm sure I heard it was Wagstaff who was off in Jan.................
btw - anyone at the game could see that JJ injury was real & not pre-planned.
Hogan in for the next month, Pritchard pushing for a start
JJ is quailty but you wouldnt say no to those two stepping up especially Little Brad
I think Evina has impressed enough in each game he has played to be 2nd choice LM. Not sure why all the focus is on 'new' players.

Let's hope this injury is not that bad.
