  • In the immortal of words of Nan in the Catherine Tate Show.......What a load of old shhhhhhhiiiiiiiiit!
  • I thought his singing was weak - would have thought Johnny Robinson could go back because the phone vote lost the boy band and the judges voted him off when he may (or may not have) got more votes than Kitty - Oh bu**ger - that shows I do watch it!!!
  • What ever happens, I hope the winner turns out to be as big an successful as Leon Jackson and Shane ward
  • We record it and watch it in about 20 minutes. The only 2 worth watching are Marcus and Misha B. The best choices of songs and best production and the best talent.
From the bits I've seen I'd agree although the fat scouse guy could sing.  While I don't like his voice Johnny Robinson could sing too.  Would go down a bomb on the dinner club circuit.
Given that he is already a drag artist me thinks JR is set to appear in Panto for the next decade at least.
Agree but its a shame as he can actually carry a show tune or ballard.  Not my thing but if he gets a decent manager he could make a decent living off the back of the publicity he's already got.  More Bailey's Watford than Wembley but that's OK

Hopefully he is well enough that he can come off of Incapacity Benefits now.

  • The UK X Factor is a national embarrassment.

The USA one however actually has a lot of very talented people in it.

Pretty much agree with that.  Have watched both and the almost all the USA contestants, if in the UK one, would win hands down.
Yep, I watch it with my daughter most weeks.  Watch Strictly too.  Not much else to watch on a Saturday evening.
  • Bit harsh on Shayne Ward there, he is very talented but badly used by Cowell and Co. They kept giving him covers. They didnt build on his potential.
  • Don't watch the crap but the little bits that have made it to my eyes &  ears, the guy just came across as a bit of a pete doherty wannabe. Unfortunately for him, the only thing they have in common is giving it large with the sherbet and thinking it's cool.
  • That Janet has a different and excellent voice and is it Mischa B? she has a power in her voice- others can sing but are they any different/better to what is out there already? Kitty could have a career but outside of X Factor- she needs an angle which they won't give her.

  • saw shayne nawrd in rock of ages with justin lee collins, very good. cheesy but good.

i dont know if its just me but when i watch it nearly everyone sounds out of tune but the judges always say how brilliant they are... the only ones worth any mention this year is the young bird from northern ireland the stocky black female singer, they actually have a voice there somewhere.

    and as for kitty...

  • "what a pair of arseholes"
  • Its musics equivalent of McDonalds. But I enjoy watching it, and now and again I have McDonalds.
Its a bit like going to Lidl when you feel a bit down, look at the great unwashed walking round Lidl for five minutes and you will feel so much better about yourself!
Its only a bit of singing its not proper music.
  • I cant stand that irish bird in it this year. One trick pony who should be a tribute act for Ellie Goulding or Florence and the machine.

    Marcus or Craig to win!
  • I'm waiting for them to give her a cranberries cover to sing...
  • I'm waiting for them to give her a cranberries cover to sing...
Should have been Zombie during Halloween week.
    That's what I'd thought she'd do
  • Karaoke bullshit.  How people can watch this crap amazes me.  This show treats it's viewers with utter contempt and assumes that they are utter morons......

There is so much good music out there, yet people choose to listen to third rate schmaltz marketed at 8 year old girls.  Depressing.

Whoever this twat is, he looks just the sort of no-talent oxygen thief so beloved of reality TV executives...and here I am commenting on it on an internet forum and feeding the beast.... Bollocks! I'll stop ranting now.
  • I completely agree but still watch it sometimes if I'm doing nothing- car crash t.v. you see, point and laugh at the idiots (including/especially the judges!).
It's like going back to medieval times.
  • agree @redmist who can say they didn't crack up when Louis Walsh started crying on stage last week when Johnny was voted off? HILARIOUS!

  • It's best when his voice goes, mid sentence!
Coupled with a trembling bottom lip...classic tv.

Well said that man. As for going back to medieval times, I thought we had developed beyond laughing at the less intelligent?

    What about Millwall then?

    Damn, you got me there...

  • ^exactly!
If millwall were relegated, would you laugh?
(should this be a new thread).
  • I'd be amazed if we could find anyone on this site (or any Charlton fan, for that matter) who wouldn't, Redmist!

My wife likes it and I am in the same room - usually checking out CL on my laptop - that's my excuse for watching and I'm sticking to it.

I'd probably die laughing if both Millwall and Palarse got relegated and we won League One - The Perfect Storm.
