Looking at this mornings papers it is noticable that the attendance at yesterdays game was the 4th highest outside of the Premeriship (although QPR v's City only beat us by 590). Only Cardiff v's Palace (22,032) - Hull v's Hammers (21,756) and Sheff Wed v's Brentford (18,107) had higher attendances.
If we continue to deliver results like yesterday and playing attractive football surely we will begin to push 20k on a regular basis as the word spreads that the Valley is well worth a visit.
Lets hope that during the two 'live' TV games this month we can continue to play attractive football and bring even more people back to the ground. I would like to think that Messers Slater and co. are more than happy with their investment so far, and that any strengthening that CP may want to do in January (not saying that he does or will) is given the go-ahead. The prize being even higher attendances in the Championship?

Shame Udders are on TV
I have a feeling that in the case of Huddersfield, TV or no TV, most of the current support will turn out for it. It's a game you simply have to go to, and many arrangements and alterations to routines are being planned to enable folk to get to it.
I also think the team will go for it, and if we lose so what? This is a game set up to be a real contest and not particularly a chess match or a percentage game, at least not from our perspective.
On average the "extra spend" is worth about £1 profit per spectator to the club, once you've deducted costs and VAT. So while this is not to be dismissed, it's pretty minimal next to the ticket revenue and the possibility of a repeat ticket sale.
Looking at the three main variables - away sales, home sales and comps - I don't see another 20,000 crowd at The Valley before Sheffield United on Jan 21st at the earliest, although I'm happy to be proven wrong.
2000 ?
Looked more than 2000 to me when I watched it on TV..
Lol, 2k at Wolves.
20,000 odd crowd, declare about 2,000, hope no-one will notice..very clever.
