Good luck to him.

  • Bournemouth have just acquired a rich Russian investor who owns half the club, I guess he's starting to spend some money.
  • thank f..k for that

    on Francis!!!

    don't be daft
  • Wish him the best - needs to leave - still think there is a good player in there but perhaps he will show that somewhere else, hopefully Bournemouth. To be fair, we certainly dont need him at the moment.
  • Wish him well but in all honesty I'm glad I will never see him in a Charlton shirt again.
  • Agree with Muttley, but he has no future with us, hope he goes on to have a good career on the south coast - player of the season at southend .. maybe he'll benefit from the sea air again
  • I'm afraid I can't have such apathy.  The sooner he leaves our club, the better.  Has to be one of the worst players I've ever seen in a Charlton shirt in my 24 years on this planet, if not the worst.
  • I heard that JUVENTUS were after Wright Philips and FRAY BENTOS are after Francis

I think you've forgotten about Mcoxo.
  • McOxo was bad, I'll give you that.  He doesn't knock Francis off top spot for me though I'm afraid.  I have honestly never seen a full-back get beaten so easily week in, week out.  And as for his 'crossing ability', absolute myth.  If I had 100 attempts at putting the ball in the box, am sure I'd get in at least 2 good ones.

Apologies, I just hate the guy with a passion.

Doubt he would get work permit in Uruguay
  • Not as awful as some think. Needs a change the same as Hayes needed a move from Preston.

  • Poor aul Bournemouth, taking their best players and giving them our worst.
  • Honest pro who never hiid regardless of how badly he played, and he did play badly.   Wish him luck but glad he's moving on for his sakes and ours.  Maybe with an old mate as manager he'll get his confidence back.

PS  its not on the our OS yet is it?

  • god the day just gets better.
  • Good luck to him. Lets hope he gets a bit more support from the Bournemouth fans than he did with some of ours.

    Frightned to say anything......

    But.......

i'm not even going to rise to the Solly's comment because as many people have observed ,  you just love talking bullshit just to wind people up on CL.

Oh yeah , Manuel never said " You know nothing" .  wrong yet again whoever you are.
  • you know nothing
  • If there was a AFCBournemouth & Boscombe  thread you could read all about the details..........
  • Works out best for both parties, good luck franny... but more importantly, Goodbye.

If launching it long whenever he received a pass in our half isn't hiding, I don't know what is.

no, its not hiding, its not being very good/confident
  • I hope he does well for Bournemouth as I feel bad for him. He knows he hasn't been good and he's clearly hated the abuse he's received, as would any of us. Funnily enough I watched the highlights of the Charlton/Luton FA Cup match from last season on YouTube after I saw Anyinsah on the FL Show and Francis puts in a fantastic cross for a goal there. The fact he can't do that every week is why he's in League One and hopefully he'll join a team with a little less expectation and flourish

  • Be great if he helped keep Bournemouth where they deserve to be, consolidating in League One, challenging for the playoffs in a season or two.  Sorry, does that sound patronising ?
