Now I know a few people on here are doing Movember and I don’t want to distract from their efforts, as raising money for the prostate cancer charity is great, but I have a proposal with regards to my own efforts.
My company has 30 blokes growing moustaches and in order to keep donations rolling in, the two highest fundraisers over the next seven days will win a pair of tickets to the England vs. Spain game (12th) and the 3rd and 4th highest will receive tickets to the Sweden game (15th). These tickets are the Club Wembley seats so you won’t be with the plebs…
Now I’m not bothered about attending the games, so if I appear in the Top 4 over the next week (ends on 5.30 Thursday) then I will be willing to donate the two tickets to a Lifer who has sponsored me (minimum donation of £5). Of course there is no guarantee that I will win, but I’ll keep people updated of the total (as a guide, the highest total this week was £215).
In addition, for every £1 I get sponsored by you guys, I will donate 50p to the Charlton Upbeats (up to a maximum of £200).
So your donation will be great for two superb charities and you will also have the chance to enjoy luxury at Wembley (of course you’ll have to bug each other to ensure that I’m top of the league!).
Please visit http://mobro.co/eurostaff and click ‘Donate to Me’.
I appreciate that I don’t know everyone on here and that times are hard for many but this is just a little experiment to see if I can raise a decent amount of cash.
Cheers
Glenn
P.S. I'll post up some pictures of the effort on Sunday.

Top work. Another 20 odd quid for the Upbeats.
Cheers Stone, much appreciated.
£60 from Lifers so far meaning £30 for the Upbeats in total.
I'm just about in the lead (therefore in line for the Spain tickets), but I expect that to change in the coming days, thanks in advance people.
Another donation from @suzisausage - thank you!
It's looking promising for tickets - I'm £65 ahead for qualifying for at least the Sweden game. That being said, it's my job to promote the cause internally so it could all change very quickly.
If you fancy a chance of winning a pair of tickets then please do follow the link above, two great causes are going to benefit.
Cheers
Last day in the office to get the donations in today to win the tickets, as it stands at the moment - we're looking good:
England vs. Spain (Saturday)
WSS - £150
Welsh Bloke - £121
England vs. Sweden (Tuesday)
Another Welsh bloke - £116
French Dude - £61
Thank you everyone who has donated so far, especially the Lifers. It would be great to put the issue out of sight though...
Will let you know by six who has won (if I have won).
Cheers
.
Thanks @sporaddick, very generous.
BTW not interested in the tickets.
Last chance guys - could be chance of getting pipped to the post by the money men here in the office:
WSS | £200
xx | £186
-------------------
xx | £146
xx | £101
Come on, let's have a flurry!
This is going to be like Ebay. The Taff has got someone waiting in the wings with a £50 donation that will go on thirty seconds before the whistle.
(well that's what i would do if I was losing)
Great news, deadline has passed and I managed to nab a pair of Club Wembley tickets to the England vs. Spain game on Saturday.
Firstly, thank you to the Lifers who contributed £150 to the cause in the past week – that goes straight to the Prostate Cancer Charity.
Consequently, as promised, I will donate £75 to the Charlton Upbeats at the end of the month – a charity that does some absolutely outstanding work.
Onto the lucky winner…
I put all of the names of the people who donated onto an Excel spreadsheet and used the random function on there to generate a name. It pulled out Henry Irving as the name, but I wasn’t having that so tried it again a few times…
…he won by a majority after 15 random calculations, and I have to go home, so am not going to sit here all night until somebody else wins!
Seriously though, congratulations Ben, I’ll get in touch either tonight or in the morning with regards to delivery of the pair of e-tickets.
Thanks again for everyone’s support, unlucky to those who missed out.
Glenn
I only just read the top bit. First and second get tcickets for Spain game.
I was right about that Taff though! (his mo suits him. looks like a 2nd hand car salesman!)
Oh my, last minute change!
Mr Irving prefers to go to Del Amici's on Saturday so we move onto who finished in 2nd place in the 15 randoms and it's the man above...
Congrats Stone!
Hope someone else can use them.
Thanks once again to everyone, I made the donation to The Upbeats this morning. A great cause and I know the money will make a difference.
