No inside information from my point of view by the way. Just trying to think through it logically. I'm a big Wagstaff fan and think he should be playing, yet the quality of Green is there, the investment is there and he'll be given the chance in my opinion.
No inside info? Why are you doing the previews then?
As I said last week there are no easy games in this league as Stevenge proved, but I think CP and the squad will be hurting having lost their unbeaten run to a deflected goal. There will be changes in personel to the starting 11, I predict (like many others) Solly for Cort and Hayes for Kermit, not sure about Waggy for Green though, although I would make that change. Some team is going to take a bit of a thumping and it could well be this week......4-0 addicks.
3-1 win. 0-1 down at half time, tea cups in the dressing room, come out all guns blazing in the second half.
Solly in. Hayes in. Green stays. I think he's worth another go as the talent is there and I'm sure he'll benefit from the potential lack of width in Carlisle's rather narrow diamond formation.
We can't feel sorry for ourselves after last week's loss. It was coming, move on.
reading one of the Carlisle forums it seems they have a weak defence, especially LB, but also score if Millar is in the mood.
so give Green another chance with Waggy ready to come on, restore Solly and put Hayes on for Kermo with Benno on the bench. Give Stephens a rest, bring JJ inside with Evina LM
When you are as old as i am history is very important because you have lived through most of modern history.
So historically Carlisle have only ever beaten Charlton once in the league at the Valley and that was last year and we all no what a no hope season that was. Won 6 Drawn 6 and Lost 1 is our proud record.
I can't join all you pessimists in thinking last week's defeat heralds doom and gloom.
3-1 to Charlton after Powell has drummed into them the importance of winning a game after a defeat.
Notts county i think, he would be fine in cm, creative and attacking alongside the industrus hollands, waggy on the left green on the right and thats a pretty awsome midfield.
We need to start scoring again and our home record is getting a bit ropey too. The GD is still good but with 'the team to beat' huddersfield up our arses I don't feel comfortable about it at the moment. I think we'll get back on track today and play to our strengths rather than playing to 'cope' with the opposition.

Charlton 1st. Highest possible league position after games 1st. Lowest 4th
Carlisle 9th Highest possible league position after games 5th. Lowest 12th

Match threadas usual from 2 pm.
Cheers
Team: Hamer, Solly, Morrison, Taylor, Wiggins, Green, Stephens, Hollands, Jackson, Hayes, BWP.
Subs: Sullivan, Cort, Evina, Wagstaff, Kermorgant.
A 2-1 win with Solly, Wagstaff (hopefully) and Hayes coming back. Kermogant and BWP don't seem to link well, get Hayes in there!

2-0 to the Haddocks
Our centre midfielders are going to be knackered.
I just hope the crowd stays patient and we try to play football rather than hoofball.
I fear a draw or worse but would love to be proved comprehensively wrong!
If Stephens doesnt play Evina on the left, Jackson inside.
