As good as we've performed recently we've only picked up 4 points from the last 6 games , which isn't good enough no matter who we're playing against . Everyone, outside the relegation zone, except wigan have pulled away from us and they have games in hand. We have to win both games against west ham and watford or i fear we are doomed cos time is running out. It's no good saying he played well , he done alright and we've got so and so to come back because it's all about results and we're not getting them at the moment. Pessimistic or realistic we need a miracle to stay up cos we're running out out of games. I fear for us ADDICKS, the fat lady is clearing her throat

Fair comment, points and goals scored and not conceded will save us, but those last four matches were against top six clubs and a record of 4 goals conceded, three of which were against Man U and Chelsea is pretty good, plus a point picked up against Bolton away and a victory on the road to Portsmouth is nothing to be sneezed at. But we only scored two goals and neither was to a forward and that highlights the weakness - we simply aren't scoring enough, partly that's down to not creating the chances in the first place and partly down to poor finishing.
All in all I'm happy with the return from these games and even happier to have them out the way. I agree that the games againt Watford, West Ham and Wigan are must win events - or else. Hopefully the form and confidence we take into them will help. Similarly West Ham and Wigan are going into these last few games suffering a lack of confidence, both having lost a number of games recently.
Partly our future is down to us and partly we still need Wigan/West Ham and maybe Sheff Utd to screw up but we are back in a position where we can shape our destiny.
Have the players and management got what it takes?
We're about to find out....
oohaah, we must be improving for you to to say the fat lady is clearing her throat. most of your posts earlier in the season (and your betting account) had her already half way through her encore.
