Airman - will you keep us updated as you for Stevenage please. We intend going but havent got our act together in asking who wants to go and had assumed there was no panic and could do after Saturday
We've sold 213 so far, so no need to worry. General sale from Friday.
We debated putting this one straight on general sale, but without knowing the intervening results felt it was safer to have some initial restrictions. We have to look at it backwards - if we sell out and someone with priority doesn't get a ticket then they will be entitled to query why we didn't restrict sales in the first place.
Bearing in mind we took 1,200 to MKD on a Tuesday night and this is a shorter trip, I would think we could take 1,500 plus if the team was to win at Stevenage and then beat Carlisle. They may also decide not to sell on the night.
I think I might make this my first away game this season. £10 return on the train, and it takes less than an hour. Its a week before my birthday too, so I can have it as a present!
They are now on general sale & there will be plenty so no worries. But although they should probably be online now as the restrictions have ended, they aren't.(Not for me anyway). Phone up tomorrow morning if you're keen to get them asap.
Is this game open to respectable fans or scum only?
which category are you in Len? ;-)
To be serious I've been thinking for a while about attending a couple of away games but I really do not want to subject myself to the sort of nonsense that appears to have occurred at Stevenage so probably will not bother.
Len, I'd attend where there is going to be plenty of room and not as many fans. Stevenage was a problem because we sold out. MKD for example wasn't because there was plenty of room and you could move if necessary to get away from the idiots. Wycombe is likely to be similar to Stevenage in my opinion.
I do Nolly. No problem! (You're a better boxer than me:-) )
However I took the opportunity to reiterate the point that I'm not anti standing as such but I am against the lack of consideration for those fans unable to stand or too short to see if they stand etc etc.
Sorry we will miss the game our supporters have appeared to have a habit off using the C word in there chants not something I want my grandchildren to hear.
We have great vocal support why spoil ourselves, lets stick to the humour without the offensive language
