Dan Roan. New Career move?

Correspondant for BBC sports.
From Wikipedia

A graduate of Cambridge University, Roan joined the BBC's News Trainee scheme in 1998. He spent five years at the BBC reporting for Look North, Radio Humberside, North of Westminster, Breakfast News, News 24 and Working Lunch programmes where he covered a wide range of major sports stories. He left the BBC to join Sky Sports News in 2003, becoming Chief News Reporter in 2007.

In 2008 Roan joined Setanta Sports as their Chief Football Reporter,[1] part of the channel’s on-screen presentation team for their live coverage of England, Premier League and FA Cup matches. Following the collapse of Setanta, Roan began to work again for the BBC,[2] particularly Radio 5 Live. In March 2010 Roan was appointed Sports News Correspondent for BBC News.

Latest Roan ''journalism'';

England centre Manu Tuilagi says he did not know he was not allowed to wear a sponsored gumshield, after he was fined £4,800 by Rugby World Cup officials for wearing one during the win over Georgia.

Tuilagi’s brother, Alesana, was fined last week for the same offence
but the England player tells BBC Sport’s Dan Roan the offence occurred
before his brother’s.
