  • Hamer 7 MK should have made him work a lot more but didn't.  One missed cross but he seem to be settling in
Solly 6  Generally good but a poor decision to dive in for the pen
Morrison 6 Allowed strikers wrong side too often
Taylor 6.5  Had a hard night but stuck to it
Wiggins 7.5  MOTM  good a both ends without being brilliant
Wagstaff 5.5  Started very well and got some decent early crosses in then faded badly.  got his usual clattering from a defender
Hollands 5.5  Not his best - too many sloppy passes
Stephens 5.5 Never go to grips with the game - wasteful shooting
Jackson 6  Did OK and put in some decent crosses and corners.  Expect him to bury headers like the one he had late on
Hayes 6.5 Our best starting forward.  Moved the ball well on the rare occasions he saw it.  Drew a very good save from keeper down by the near post
Wright Phillips 6  Not his best game.  Maybe expect too much but a couple of chances not taken that normally would have been in the net

Green   Had a right ding dong with Lewington and was giving out as many sly digs as he got.  He had them rattled.  Lovely move and cross for the goal

Kermorgant.  I like him.  good touch and movement.  Looks like he could play with Hayes or BWP up top when fully fit.

MK Dons - good passing side, pressed us and we didn't cope well.  Paid us the compliment of going 4-5-1 at home to stiffle us and it worked but Powell won the battle of the coaches.  When Robinson subbed off their left winger that side opened up for us and CP exploited that by putting Green on.  And it was that side the goal came from.

MK will be up there at the end.  We can and will play better.
