Whilst I understand twitter is not for everyone, it would really help promote the deal if we could manage to get #footballforafiver trending this evening. So anyone who hasn't already, sign up and join in the fun at 5:30 this evening! ;) #cafc

    is a good idea but you can't beat a physical presence in the local community -
    something the club has been brilliant at over the last 25 years. I'll be
    printing off some flyers and dropping at my local schools, I urge everyone to
    do something similar if they can.

    Airman had a whole team stuffing envelopes full of flyers on the Monday of the Sheff Weds game.

    But a reminder certainly can't hurt!

    I doubt it. I live next to the school and Arsenal has taken
    it over and the kids are always coming out with flyers from there and they have
    coaches going in all the time. Never seen anything Charlton related there since
    I was there. It's worth finding out at least surely

    We (the club) work with about 300 primary schools on a rolling basis, covering all the boroughs you'd expect. They've all been sent flyers/posters. Admittedly, it will be hit and miss, and there will be schools where they will end up in the bin for whatever reason, but the feedback on tickets is overwhelmingly positive and when we did flyers before we found almost everyone happy to help because they recognise they get something back. Special thanks are due to Greenwich and Bexley Councils for their help with the distribution in their areas.

    The trust works with a smaller cohort of schools on a more intensive basis.

    To my knowledge there is one school in Greenwich that doesn't take tickets and won't help on the basis it has a relationship with Arsenal.
