Going top of the league without playing

edited September 2011 in General Charlton
Felt a bit surreal last night watching Charlton play badly knowing that we had gone top of the league. It almost felt a bit like we were missing out on watching the real Charlton play away whilst we were watching a friendly match at The Valley.

As far as the game last night is concerned, I can only summise that at no time in the near future should CP be selecting any of that 11 (granted Sullivan made some good saves) for League action and let's pray to god no one in the first team gets injured. Preston looked a decent side and better in every area, although iv no idea if that was their first team. They will most likely be in the shake up come May.

Also, what sort of crowd should we expect for a televised game vs. Brentford in the JPT, 3000 ?
