Have they got something against us? We hardly ever have anyone in the Div One Team of the week, even though we're second and only on GD
we're perhaps more a team where the sum of the whole is greater than the individual parts, though Wright-Phillips has got to be one of, if not THE best striker in the division
I actually think a team better than the sum of the individuals is a really good thing. And bodes well (even though I keep reminding myself there is such a long way to go yet). Agree about BWP and been reading good things about Solly

I agree. I had doubts about Solly and was a bit of a Francis advocate but having seen Solly just twice this season can see that he is a MUCH improved player. Respect to him as he's added skill and awareness to his100% effort and commitment which were never in question.
Don't think Solly's a much improved player at all.
Pretty much the same player he's always been ie very good.
The difference is some have finally taken their blinkers off so can see past his age, height and that he's a home grown player.
you have your view, i have mine
Yes, I'm very pleased to agree with that.
Amazing how he's pick up all that skill and awareness that you said he was lacking in a matter of just a few weeks.
Amazing? .. you believe in divine intervention, bolts from the blue? I suggest it was more a matter of good coaching and management, self analysis and added maturity, I doubt any 'amazing' incident or set of circumstances played much of a role in Solly's development as a professional footballer.
Solly is a huge asset for us, has shown that with a run of games he can be a fine RB in this league and has been our MOM in the last two (imho), his attitude seems to be spot on whilst he has also shown he can be effective going forward as well as doing the bread and butter well.
Can see him being a regular for a long time to come.

Oh dear. Not like you to miss the point and blunder on regardless.
Solly hasn't changed much, he's just having his first run of games in his best position while playing in a stronger team playing decent football.

When anyone resorts to 'oh dear', I know they are struggling. What point, what pearl of Irvinian wisdom have I misinterpreted?
was he? .. Good player isn't he. Who else made it? .. Dagnall? Togwell? Quinn ? or is the mirror selection usually restricted to only 1 player from any team

Indeed.
How's life in the service of your country? Where are you now?
solly is showing a manager who has the confidence to play him just how good he is and in return for that he is getting games in the right postion ,
now i agree with henners some of knew the player was already in the club unfortunately others didnt
the chris solly you are all seeing is no different to the solly against bournemouth last season where he was subsequently dropped immediately
just goes to show what poor decisions were made on players and tactics in the past
