Congratluations Sam Stoser of Australia. Regardless of the state women tennis is or tennis in general is.

By god to see the Williams and her entourage reaction was a sad sad reflection on sportsmanship in general. Dont give it out if you cant tack it...

Aussie boys - under the kosh now...Wommans Atheltics Champion. Womens Tenish Champion......may have to do something at the rugby....

she was properly giving it to the umpire , her suspended fine/ban or whatever it is should see her get a load of grief for this

Sadly, for all of her tennis power, Ms Williams seems to be noisy, arrogant, grace-less and a bad loser.
The suspended penalty will hopefully be imposed. The fact that she feels the need to scream 'yes' when winning any minor point in a tight game kind of undermines her perception of being ' # 1'.
Also found it irritating in QF match when the US commentators called her 'Serena', but her opponent was 'Pavlyachenkova' rather than Anastasia......

who said show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser .. the thing is with all her grunting and shouting, as with quite a few mostly women players, Williams comes close to cheating, not as bad as McEnroe though, the ultimate needs a good smack game disrupter
