Were we a better side when cp was banned from the touchline

And could get a better perspective of the game from the stands ?

  • Geez. Complain about the weather why don't you.
"We win more when it snows. Bring back winter."
  • like it makes a difference - are you serious or having a laugh?
  • From the touchline he has a one dimensional view of the game, from the stands he can see why the game plan can't open up the opposition and has to keep going back to the goalkeeper even though today we had a spare man
  • Only problem with this is that he watched the games from the tunnel - NOT in the stand...
  • We were a better team when I was wearing my yellow boxers too!!!
  • Seems like your struggling to find something to pick at, were doing ok, not lost yet, why not just embrace this and start a hobby with a smile on your face.
    Move on.

    Did I mention the skidmarks?
  • With them being yellow, the brown would have coordinated beautifully, unless you've a pollop- in which case red would clash a bit.

  • may have to get them out again - fumigation tablets permitting -  I think if we can persuade Chrissy to wear them as he sits in the stands we will be unbeatable - oh hang on, we haven't been beaten anyway!

Into the Valley... by the skidmarks ...that has a je ne sais quai to it.
  • Gives a whole new meaning to 'tunnel jump'!
  • Quoi

Did anyone do the tunnel jump?

Powell came out and waved. He thinks being the manager, he shouldn't jump anymore and I think most would agree.

    Should be Waggy imho.
  • I think we are a better side when my mate don't turn up..the players clearly reacted to his 'Come on Charlton' comments on Saturday.

I think it is something that the players should do, however after the succession of Kjnsella to Powell to Elliot it will die and end of matches will be like any other team with players quick wave to crowd and tunnel dash.
  • Elliot did it because he was a fan - Powell did it because he bonded with the fans -we shouldn't force it on somebody - the player who does it has to be genuine about it.

  • Kinsella did it because he was a Charlton God
