tannoy announcement - daughters 13th birthday

How do i get an announcement made for my season ticket holding daughter? I tried last year but for some reason it did not work - maybe they only have a certain number they read out.

I seem to recall that someone on this forum offered to help.

Id check the birthdays, messages section of the programme for contact details, it failing that phone the clubs switchboard

Make sure you want a pitch anouncement rather than a programme mention as they are not compiled using the same list.

i did this a couple of years ago for my brother's 40th birthday and a friend coming from the states to see the addicks. i just phoned the club and put in a request. i understand that they have a limit to the number of announcements they will make, so get in early.

These sort of announcements would work on the big screen - has anybody in the club considered that - more could be got in that way  I think. The club could have a premium text number where you could send the message in that would cost you £1 or £1.50 and providing the message is appropriate it could then be displayed. Everybody's happy!
