Anyone else think one of the most annoying things about last night was Karl Robinson with such a thinly concealed grin all over his boat, trying to find something constructive to say when he was really thinking "these two are pony and we've got promotion nailed on"? Or maybe he always has such a smug expression.

Hate to admit it but he sems like a good find at MK - certainly a vast improvement on the big name and corresponding ego that preceeded him. Hopefully they'll fade but he's entitled to feel pretty pleased with himself at the moment having replaced one goal-scorer so smoothly with another.
Deano meanwhile just never fails to impress me - articulate, humorous, fondly remembered where ever he's played, and still clearly taking a keen interest in CAFC. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he was one of the characters CP metioned he'd asked to assist him - perhaps a little further down the line. For me, like Chrissy, one of the very best Charlton signings of the Curbs era, and beats Bobby Bolder to my vote for best Charlton keeper I've seen (though Tutt might have gone on to great things).
I have it on pretty good authority that he was asked.
He's a lovely guy - shame there wasn't a Deano chant when Hamer sliced a goal kick into touch like there was at Bury!
