Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock believes he is edging closer to tying up a deal for Manchester City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Four clubs have had an offer accepted by City, with the England international having spoken to all of the interested parties. He is, however, believed to favour a switch to Loftus Road.Warnock is confident he will get his man, with QPR working hard to get a transfer pushed through before Wednesday's deadline. He is confident that his side hold all the right cards, with the chance to take in a second spell in the capital appealing to former Chelsea man Wright-Phillips.Big drawWarnock said: "We have made an offer and it's been accepted."There are four clubs who have agreed and it's really down to the player."Joey (Barton) has spoken to him, I think they were room-mates at Man City so that might help."I think the big draw for Shaun is going back to London. His mum is there and he's got a house there." Apologies - couldn't resist the temptation.
