  • Careful NLA, or people will accuse you of being a vigilante or a football hooligan.

Of course, if you'd put a turban on and carried a sword then they wouldn't dream of stereotyping you like that.

Good luck to you. Stay safe.
  • Does anyone know if Plumstead/Woolwich is ok? Apparently loads of sirens round there.
  • Well done NLA.

    Good to hear.
  • clem,

i have just seen a video taken as you posted your comment about there being a couple of police cars. i also saw, from my place by the bingo hall, about a dozen police vans come up the hill from the yorkshire grey.

i'm not gonna argue with you. you are just wrong in your statement.

  • Also massive respect to the Sikh guys. If only the Eltham mob could have done it the same way.
What was the difference then? Sorry, I wasn't in both places so don't know.

Or are you just making assumption based on your own prejudices?

Excuse me? The Sikh guys appeared to be respectfully lined up outside their temple. They appeared to be in good spirits and were interacting with the locals.

The youtube clips I have seen shown The Eltham Mob marching up and down the high street goading in much the same way, an ITV reporter has been tweeting for an hour or so warning that the Eltham group had broken up into smaller factions and were walking the streets seeking out someone to have a ruck with. Is that the right way then?

Ah, so you weren't at either place then.

Have you not seen the pictures of the people stood outside the pubs. Pretty similar to the pictures of the Sikhs stood outside their temple really - obviously apart from the lack of swords.
  • Just posted on the Daily Telegraph site:

'21.56 A few hints of ugly scenes and racial tension in Enfield, but no suggestion that it is widespread. More hearteningly, there are pictures of a group of Millwall and Charlton fans in Eltham High Streetstanding outside shops, apparently chanting "No-one loots us, we don't care".'
  • This is what I was trying to say earlier Clem. Few people from bermondsy apparently in eltham. I was just merely saying some of them aren't there to protect eltham and they are there looking for it. They will only move on elsewhere but if it gets rid of the little hoolie scum, fair enough.

Im from bexleyheath but you won't see me traveling to a completely different part of London to protect someone elses area. I'd protect my area but if you go to a different area your kind of looking for it

I've no idea what your problem is and can't be bothered to argue with you.

I have no issue with the blokes meeting up in Eltham. What isn't right is them actively going off and seeking a ruck when the pub they are at gets closed for the evening.

  • Now a fire in Woolwich New Road
  • Sponsored links:

  • boots in eltham high street on fire.

  • It is not racial tension unless the issue of the looting and arson is caused by a certain section of societies,

Let me tell you the stuff done here has been done by hooded rats black, white, Asian, I have seen them with my own eyes,

I am here to show that i have had enough you want to come back here rob and burn well I and this lot ain't having it black, white, yellow, purple,
  • Would you really be upset if they went and found some looters destroying someone else's neighbourhood and sorted them out, Clem?

By whatever means necessary I say - good on them.

Or your pretty pissed off by the way things are
  • @clem can you give me the name of the tweeter from it, giving the updates?
  • Dog quiet in Charlton village tonight. Even ventured into the bugle for a few where we all had a bit of a laugh as nothing else open. Curry closed. tho the sirens have started up in last fifteen mins.

Going to sleep a lot better tonight hopefully.
  • Utter mook on sky now. Little sewer rat being interviewed

Rather than beat around the bush, why don't you just say they're EDL thugs as that's what you're trying to spin.

What an utter cockswab he was

  • Just went down to Lewisham town centre. At least 10 police vans flying past in direction of Lee . Officer said there was a march of residents but they wouldn't be allowed down to Lewisham

With the curry house closed, I am surprised you never started up B.
  • boots in eltham high street on fire.

    Is this for real?
  • boots in eltham high street on fire.

looking at the pic again, could be something on fire on path outside shop.
  • Not a fire just a flar in Eltham.
  • And that's what they are doing is it Clem?

    Thanks letting me know.
  • See him rodney. Little f**k. He says I'm trying to piss the police off init and I'm doing it for money.

See another boy earlier saying the police are racists. I've seen a fair few black police officers before
  • thats a flare outside boots

  • Where the hell did a flare come from?!
  • The Enfield incident tonight has been reported by some as having racial underones, but a Journo from the Guardian was there and he confirms that there was no racial language or chants involved, as claimed by The Telegraph report. Sounds like the group that NLA was with in Turkey Street down to Carterhatch Lane. Locals there were very happy with their presence and it appears, so were the OB. All open shops along Hertford Rd have a group of Turks or Albanians outside watching for potential looters. This has also occurred across east london and I have seen the footage of Eltham High Street, which was also being well 'protected'. People are definitely fighting back and ready.
