Might as well head back, any copper that uses his baton nowadays loses his job for police brutality.
Exactly, i'm watching it live and the police are almost scared to use their batons, due to watchdogs and the modern day political correctness police are hindered massively.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Feel for the police, if they stop & search black youths it's racism & victimisation - all black youths walk around like they are untouchable - I'll probably get called racist now, add to that that I'm from Eltham originally & I'll probably get arrested.
No idea of the extent of it but in case it helps anyone, BBC are reporting road closures around Ladywell / Lewisham High St. Might be better to steer clear.
Riot policing in NI (and why not bring a few of those experts over to help) e had snatch squads for the ring leaders. Why is this not happening?
Same thing last night. Blokes individually lobbing missiles at, and 10 metres away from, line of cops, no rushing out in bricks of four officers to snatch the scum.
Just been saying this to my missus - it worked in NI. Take a few of the ringleaders out, the wannabees with soon clear off.
Just got home from work, I live in East Dulwich, not far from Peckham High Street which has groups of youths hanging around, loads of police, all the shops (which are normally open late into the night) boarded up and "apparently" one of the young kids was being arrested for having a gun. Be careful out there guys.

This Country has gone to the dogs.
If the police can't stop them breaking into any shop they like and burning down every motor they come across, how exactly will they enforce a curfew.
If this carries on for much longer it will end up spreading out of London to other major cities, scary times.
Not working at the moment so im doing Woolwish 2nite. Some of those pound shops are gona get it.
So Labour told us to jump up and down to scare away the bad men but dont have a go .The Tories are on holiday and acording to some on here even suggesting a touch of vigilantyism (sic) is taboo.
I have to explain to my neice from Thailand she cant shop in Oxford Street after she finishes her class and to get off at Blackheath not Lewisham. This is after she phoned her mum yesterday to tell het she is ok. I then have to drive through Bermondsey tonite to pick my mrs up from work. So i will have a claw hammer in the car and the first yoot that takes a step towards one of mine is dead-----if thats all right with the pacifists on here --- and if it aint -- like i give a shit.
@Southwark_NewsSouthwark NewsIt's kicking off in #Peckham. 100's of people milling around, some are throwing stones and a lot wearing masks. Very nasty. #Londonriots
If the police cant stop them now. I'm guessing they never will. So is this going to carry on for weeks...months...years
this is the start, wait until this generation of teenagers become men and they and their sons are all at it. Will the last Englishman out of London please turn off the lights

Not 100% though.
