  • heard this today and thought is this the same bloke of charlton life.
Forget the presenters name, but he didnt half state the obvious throughout.
  • haha it was. he just let me blab on!
  • Biggest impact signing: Danny Green.

Couldn't agree more! He can hit a dangerous ball into the box from pretty much anywhere...
  • Nice one - can you get a regular slot?
  • You should of said Francis, Someone might of come and god for bid but take him. haha
  • congratulations on a concise and clear analysis, hang on ... I think I'll listen to it again
  • did you get told what questions he was going to ask you?
  • nope, just got rung up about 30 seconds before i went on, asked to describe myself and then got patched threw, all off top of my head.
  • Just finished listening.  You were on for ages and very clear and detailed.  Good speaker, well done.

  • Didn't that other guy say something about the team taking time to gel, then a little while later saying it's imperative we get off to a good start? Bit of a contradiction there.

Agreed about your comments being clear etc, good job.

  • Worst pundit I've ever heard.

Move over Claridge, Birtles, Collymore etc

    ;-)

  • asked to describe myself and then got patched threw.

    Are you Jack Bauer ?
  • Great stuff Marriott.  I was on LBC a couple of weeks ago on their football phone. Didnt post it up though as I sounded a right clueless oik! ;-)

  • you should be a pundit. sounded very professional
  • asked to describe myself and then got patched threw.

    Are you Jack Bauer ?
    i can't disclose that.

  • Here's my one from LBC the other week. Called in because they were talking about the old chestnut of most Charlton fans got what they deserve when Curbs left as we wanted him out apparently ;-)

    From 129.30

  • where abouts 29.30 ?
  • edited August 2011

129 minutes 30 seconds. (or 2 hrs 9 minutes 30 secs depending on your player)

It takes a while to buffer the whole thing.

    Good stuff mate

Listening to presenters say "Haha look at Charlton they got what they deserved after hounding out Curbishley with he took them as far as he could" absolutely drives me nuts

Good to hear the presenter not listening to a word you said either, used to be at the Standard... no surprise there then, plum
  • ok just waiting for it to buffer!

A good analysis, Hamer was  atad excruciating though - all the cliches came out there.
