nut megged the guy by the corner flag
  • Wasn't impressed with him in pre-season but as he gets fitter, he's getting better
  • Still think he'll be a big player for us, he's not about goals. Like a more powerful, technically better version of Mooney
  • Looked a class apart from some of the dross we've seen up front over the last couple of seasons (Sodje,Abboy, Nouble,Mooney etc) think he will complement BWP well - think the 4th striker needs to be a speedy option to use late on against tired defences
  • Hayes was class today. Worked hard, good eye for a pass and a unbelievable tekkers - will be a top player for us this year!
  • I thought he led the line well and worked hard to get it back when needed.  Good hold up play to bring our midfield into the game.  Sometimes he and BWP didn't read each others movement but that will come.
  • JESUS CHRIST , GIVE HIM A BREAK, GAME 1 OF 46. HAD A BETTER GAME THATB BWP THAT'S FOR SURE.
IF YOU WANT TO MOAN, MOAN AT WAGSTAFF WHO IS HOPELESS. SCORED A GREAT GOAL, BUT BLOODY HOPELESS.........

Stop shouting please. Wagstaff was hopeless eh? What planet are you on?
  • Wagstaff is great for games against passing teams like bournemouth runs for every ball and sometimes comes inside on counter attacks  to give service to the strikers. He also gives 100% every game. He scored a great goal and like every player on that feiled when he lost the ball he tried to get it back, So dont moan we could have worse and would you rather a lazy winger that dont take people on?

  • Hayes ain't bad at all, is he.

    He certainly resembles his brother.
  • I thought played a good game - hard working, helping his team mates and, importantly, he will make space for BWP to score goals
  • i really liked the look of him. very good first touch and his movement for showing for the ball is superb. he's what i call an intelligent footballer.
  • Reminded me of Gary Nelson
