Every Premier League Manager from 1992-93 to 2011-12

edited July 2011 in General Charlton
Table listing all 166 managers of all 45 Premier
League clubs from season 1992-93 to 2011-12, including those appointed
as joint managers and caretaker managers.

Caretaker managers are listed only when they managed the team for at least one match in that period.

Charlton Athletic have had 4 different men in charge during their Premier League participation.

As of 2011, Alex Ferguson is the only person who has remained in his
position as Manchester United manager since the formation of the Premier
League in 1992.

Arsène Wenger has been in charge of Arsenal in the Premier League since
1997, while David Moyes has been Everton's manager since 2002.

  • cool list
  • Interesting list, but it does annoy me that these sort of things only concentrate on the Premiership years, almost as if the football league never existed before the PL came along!

  • dont know what happened there - I agree with that. And it's the same with the Champions League

I'm working on the Football League list from season 1888-89 onwards, but it's a rather mammoth task, as you might imagine.

  • Spurs and Newcastle have an impressive list!
18 (Spurs) & 19 (Newcastle) managers in less than 20 years!
    Chelsea not far behind
    Job security there then!!!

There was a time when we didn't have a sign outside the Spurs' manager's office... it was a backboard and a chalk eraser.

Thankfully, we've had a little more stability during the past few years.

  • Yeah, that Harry Redknapp bloke is a truly safe pair of hands. Solid and honest as the day is long - stability in human form.
