Yes he is, who knows what will happen to him, but I would like to think that his old man would give him some sane advice, that is to stay local. learn your trade, get some professional football under your belt and then move on.

I think this point is very important. Isn't Gus supposedly quite close to JIminez ? Perhaps he knows we are in good hands and going places. Or is that just my wishful thinking ? In any case it's great news.

If Diego has any sense and he'll have been well advised by his father he'll stay at Charlton for another couple of years at least and get some first team experience under his belt before looking to move on. Despite the last few years we have a good track record at developing talented kids and giving them experience.
